In 2020-2021 the Department of Energy conducted a pilot program to investigate an opportunity to combine datasets of locations of electric vehicles with data about Consumer Owned Utility distribution systems. It was believed that the combination of these data sets would provide information that may enhance the utility’s future distribution system planning, and in turn be helpful toward the integration and advancement of vehicle electrification. This project is an extension of that pilot and is now available to all consumer and public owned utilities in Oregon.
