Welcome to the Oregon Department of Energy’s Energy Efficient Wildfire Rebuilding Incentive Program. In 2021, the Oregon legislature passed HB 5006, allocating about $10.8 million to the Oregon Department of Energy for a new program incentivizing energy efficient rebuilding of residential and commercial structures destroyed during the 2020 Labor Day wildfires.

The program will help those wildfire survivors rebuild site-built homes, manufactured homes, multi-family homes, and commercial structures with current- or above-code energy building standards.

If you are submitting an incentive application for a project for the first time, select the option to apply for an Energy Efficient Wildfire Rebuilding Incentive. This includes those applicants who when applying have completed their projects.
